The Economic Inclusion team is the first point of contact for Southend-On-Sea businesses. We offer direct advice wherever possible and signpost to other teams within SCC, or external partners, to get you the best reponse.
The team acts as the conduit between the Council and the business community, sharing useful information with regular updates on behalf of many Council teams. We also work with the wider business support community to make sure you and your business are able to access the latest support and grant funding.
Our team also work with the local community to support them into employment, and with employers and educational institutes, to make sure we have the best skilled workforce available in Southend. You can find further information on our many skills projects on our Training and Skills page.
