New deals for the Airport Business Park Southend

We are pleased to announce that two new deals have been completed for the Airport Business Park Southend, in partnership with HBD.

CAMA and IPECO are both are expected to move in during early 2024.

Alan Richards, Executive Director for growth and housing at Southend City Council said “It’s great to see further development at Airport Business Park Southend and to see the project deliver more prospects for local businesses to expand and for both new and existing businesses of all sizes to invest.

“As one of the first local businesses on the site, we are delighted that IPECO have chosen to grow their business at Airport Business Park Southend through a second state-of-the-art facility. CAMA choosing it for their AssetStore location is also great news. This will provide high quality, sustainable new facility for the storage for film and TV props, helping production companies reduce production costs and carbon impact, but also helping the City of Southend boost our creative, cultural and green agendas by having such a company located in the area.

“The airport business park, funded by SELEP and the council, has also seen the recent opening of the Launchpad, our first BREEAM Outstanding building, which is now open and being operated by Oxford Innovation.

“This continues to be a priority project for the council and will keep delivering local jobs for local people and driving economic growth in the city and surrounding area."
