Virtual careers talks would be exactly what you would say in a normal careers talk on your sector or job role however it would be pre-recorded and some schools might ask you to answer certain questions that students have asked.

We are looking for pre recorded videos about different careers in different industries. The videos do not need to be recorded professionally, just a video or presentation with a voice over about different careers to help inspire the next generation into your industry.

We do have further helpful tips for these videos for anyone that is interested.

Enterprise Network Coordinator


All year groups


We are looking for three new Enterprise Advisers to join the network to be matched with a local school and support the Careers Leader and SLT to develop their overall careers programme for the school. Careers work in schools is more vital than ever and if you are passionate about supporting a local school to plan and implement the information and experience young people need to make the best informed decisions for their future please get in touch. Schools seeking an Enterprise Adviser include Southend High School for Girls, Westcliff High School for Boys and Victory Park Pupil Referral Unit.

Pathway A: Logistics, manufacturing, construction and warehouse.


Pathway B: IT, Digital and Business Admin


Pathway C: Customer Service, Retail and Domestic Cleaning.

In partnership with Job Centre plus and Southend Adult Community college we will be launching a new programme which will enable over 25s back into work. The programme will run for 4 weeks, working to improve candidates employability skills and introduce them to live vacancies in growth sectors. he first course will begin on the 22nd of February and will cover three pathways.(in the sector column)

We are looking for local businesses in these areas, who would be willing to give an industry talk, host a recorded virtual tour, provide “industry specific tips for interviews” to the candidates, or offer real job interviews for candidates (real job interviews are in W/C 15th March), or provide an industry mentor.

This project will be run throughout the year, so if you would like to help on it please contact us.
