National Debtline

The National Debtline is a free, confidential and independent phone helpline providing specialist advice to people with debt problems. You can contact them on Freephone: 0808 808 4000 (9am to 9pm Monday to Friday and 9.30am to 1pm on Saturday). You can also visit their website where further advice and guidance is available.

Citzens Advice Bureau

The Citizens Advice Bureau offers a range of advice and guidance including debt management. You can telephone 0344 477 0808, Monday to Friday between 10am and 4pm for an initial assessment (subject to availability).  For more information and advice please visit their website

Step Change offer free and confidential advice if you are concerned about debt. Free phone 0800 138 1111 (8am to 8pm Monday to Friday) or visit their website 

Money Advice Service

Money Advice Service provides unbiased advice, information and interactive money planners to help you plan, budget and save. Call 0300 500 5000 or visit their website for more information.

Council Tax and Housing
