Volunteering often offers opportunities for training and can add valuable experience to a CV. Time or work offered by volunteers contributes greatly to valued local services for those experiencing hardship.

Volunteer Southend - Volunteer Southend works as a referral services matching individuals with rewarding volunteering opportunities in our local area. Applications to volunteer can be submitted online via our website or individuals can drop into The Hub (Victoria Shopping Centre, 324-325 Chartwell Square, SS2 5SP) to sign up and discuss opportunities. SAVS run the Supported Volunteering Programme which supports people who may have experienced mental ill health into volunteering. More information can be found on their website or you can email Rachel Rooks or call on 01702 356 021
