The LoCASE project is here to help small and medium enterprise (SME) business become more energy efficient and save money, as well as encourage innovation in low carbon products and practices.

LoCASE gives grant support to SME businesses in the South East Local Enterprise Partnership (SELEP) region in order to help cover the costs relating to conversion and upgrade of infrastructure and assets that are more energy efficient. In addition to this business support is offered to help change organisational behaviour and practices that are identified as cost savings.

It also helps businesses in the low carbon sector grow. For businesses in the low carbon industry, grants would be offered for new equipment, research, development, marketing or any consulting fees incurred that helps the business expand and offer the local business community opportunities in energy saving.

If your business employs fewer than 250 people and is based in Thurrock, Southend, Essex, Kent and Medway, East Sussex then click on this link to see what this project can offer your organisation.
