This week celebrates the positive impact that apprenticeships and traineeships have on individuals, businesses and the wider economy.

With the government committed to creating over 3 million apprenticeships over the next five years there are increasing opportunities available.

The latest news will be presented by Rob Tinlin, Chief Executive of Southend-on-Sea Borough Council.

60 Minute Mentor

Our mentors will be visiting schools and colleges throughout Apprenticeship Week and beyond to provide a mentoring session to young people about business, CV's, interviews and much much more..

1:2:1 Sessions

16th March 2016

Southend Job Centre Plus will be offering 1:2:1 sessions for young people who are out of work and looking for a job. 

Providing advice on the day will be the National Careers Service and Southend-on-Sea Borough Council. 

In addition there will be an opportunity for you to find out how to be an apprentice or if you are a business how you can employ young people as an apprentice.
